The LoPro is a lightweight, low-profile HPGe gamma ray detector used by U.S. military operators around the world. How long will the LoPro run on battery power?2021-04-08T13:49:38-05:00

The LoPro supports a variety of battery configurations. In the most lightweight configuration, the internal battery will power the system for about 5 hours. For missions that require longer battery life, the LoPro can also operate for up to 15 hours using a single BB2590 (mil-spec) battery. Additionally, hot-swappable battery operation permits the LoPro to run continuously away from line power as long as fresh/recharged batteries are available.

With field operations in mind, the LoPro will cool from room temperature to operating temperature in about 3 hours.
