NP Imager: real-time HPGe imaging of isotope distributions during radiochemical separation

Developed under a DOE Office of Nuclear Physics SBIR grant, the NP Imager combines HPGe spectroscopy with quantitative imaging to monitor isotope distributions on separation columns during radiopharmaceutical production and research.

NP-Imager
  • ZoomFactor magnifies source distributions from a fixed instrument position
  • Optional gantry positions the detector head to accommodate the geometry of any hot cell or bench setup
  • Resolves and quantifies individual isotopes along the column
